Hiya everyone!

I just wanted to put this on my front page so you could all see it: I'm still around, and submitting art, and reading all your wonderful critique, and so grateful to all of you! I'm just being a lot quieter in the groups as I'm currently working on my doctorate, and it's drinking up my time like a fresher with something to prove in the pub. So please don't give up on me... but I apologise if it takes me a few days to reply to you!

Just to let you know I do NOT sell any of my stuff on Etsy. A few people, however, DO! They have *stolen* my drawings and reprinted them. Please do not buy from these people! I get no credit, no profit and no sense of artistic self-worth from these sales. If you see anything printed with my work on Etsy, PLEASE report it!

I'm flattered that you guys like my stuff, but you don't have to steal it and you DON'T have to buy from thieves. If you want a print or something send me a private message and I will give you a BETTER DEAL than those stealing bastards. I don't mind if I only make 2p profit; I'd rather undersell them than give them the satisfaction of profiting from other people's hard work!

Good afternoon Deviants! Having a good summer?

I've just updated my store! That's right folks, now you can purchase high quality mugs, jigsaw puzzles, fridge magnets, greetings cards and mouse mats of some of my best works (as faved by YOU!) and if I don't sound like enough of a salesman already... great bargain prices, with only the minimum DA profit margin maintained! Wait... I did that wrong...

Just to say hi to you all really: to quote Monty Python, "I ain't dead!"

I'm just incredibly busy.

And yet, somehow, incredibly bored.

I've started a new job, but until my CRB check is cleared I can't work. So I'm waiting for that. I've applied for PhDs and funding, but until I hear back from the committees, I can't work out what I'm doing with my life for the next three years- or even the next six months.

So I'm spending my time filling out lots of forms, and staring blankly at hotmail waiting for it to surrender precious, precious information to me. Mmm.... information.

I'll try to be around a bit more, and sorry if it takes me a while to reply to messages at the moment... it's entirely my fault, and I apologise!

So, if anyone has any suggestions for things for me to draw/doodle/new comics they'd like to see in the next few days, say so. I can't promise I'll have time to do them, but if I find myself staring at the walls again it will pull me out of my stupor..! ...maybe.

In honour of the 2,500 congregations who, today, listened to a homophobic statement issued by the church. It included the phrase, "we have a duty to do all we can to ensure that the true meaning of marriage is not lost for future generations".

Well, no offence guys, but is the true meaning of marriage about gender? Surely marriage is, more than anything else in the world, about LOVE. Marriage is about finding someone you want to spend your life with. Marriage is about living and laughing and learning with someone, and being truly yourself both as an individual and through the eyes of your partner. Marriage is a beautiful, wonderful thing. Marriage is about home and security and family and growing old together. And by family, I don't just mean genetic children, but the people you choose to bring into your married home. As a fostered child, I can guarantee that genetics are less than love, and love is no less than everything.

God is love. God is not gender. Be with the people who you love, live in a loving way, and you are living in God's light. To the 2,500 congregations: the law of our faith is to love our neighbour, love each other, and love God.
