Kyprioth and Mother Goddess

I'm trying out a new style at the moment so there might be a fair few more of these, just because gods are so much fun to draw!

This is Kyprioth (on the left) and the Mother Goddess from Tamora Pierce's Tortall. Kyprioth is the trickster, hence the rather slovenly posture, and someone else here on DA described his style as "a pimp" which is probably true. I've never drawn beards before, so I'm quite pleased it became more Alan Rickman and less Father Christmas.

The Mother... I was struggling to decide how to draw her. She's the goddess of so many things! But I liked the description of her as the deity of the oceans and the moon, so I went with that. The moon she's looking at is meant to be a prayer, but due to my new style being pretty raw it's not too good. Might re-do that.
